Managing your Prayer List
As the parish administrator, you get a Manage section built right into your Prayer List — no separate tools to learn. It's where you add and remove members and keep the prayer wall tidy.
How to open it: sign in to your Prayer List with the same email you used to sign up. Because you're the administrator, you'll see a Manage button (with a shield) in the top bar. Your parishioners don't see it — it's only for you.
Members
The Manage section lists everyone on your prayer list.
Add a member
- Open Manage and fill in the person's name (optional) and email under Add Member.
- Click Add Member. They can now sign in at your Prayer List's address with a one-time code sent to their email — so make sure you've done email setup first, or codes won't send.
Good to know: anyone you share your prayer list link with can also join on their own by entering their email. Adding members here is handy for building your roster up front, but it isn't required.
Remove a member
In the members list, click the trash icon next to a person to remove them. They'll no longer be able to sign in. (You can't remove your own admin account, to avoid locking yourself out.)
Moderating prayer requests
The Manage section also lists every prayer request shared on your wall. If something is posted in error, click the trash icon next to it to remove it — this also removes its comments and Amens. You usually won't need to; people can already edit and delete their own requests.
Exporting your prayer list
To print a list for the bulletin, sign in to your Prayer List and use the CSV and PDF buttons on the prayer wall — no admin tools needed.
Advanced settings (the control panel)
A few technical things live in your instance's separate control panel (built
on an open-source tool called PocketBase), at your PocketBase address with
/_/ on the end — the exact link and password are in your
welcome email. You'll only need it for:
- Email setup — connecting your email sender so sign-in codes work. Follow the email setup guide.
- Your admin password — change it there any time.
Everything else in that panel is set up for you — no need to touch it.
Need a hand?
Email [email protected] with your parish name and we'll walk through it with you.
